I am thankful that God brought me, against my will, to NY.

Thank God for his perfect timing for everything. I am thankful for my job. It is one of the most challenging jobs I've had, mostly because it absolutely requires emotional and mental perseverance - in other words, a strength that I know only Christ provides. I'm thankful for my parents right now - for they have raised me and contributed to the opportunities through which I have grown into the woman I am today. It is as a result of these opportunities that I believe the only way for me to be a woman is for me to be confident, strong, and constantly pursuing Christ. And I'm thankful that this job and my current living situation put me in situations that give me no other choice but to be that type of a woman.

I'm thankful for Jess and her loving heart and how comfortable I am calling her in the middle of the day to ask for prayer and words of comfort. I am so thankful for my college friends who remind me every once in awhile that I am in their thoughts, though they are halfway across the earth. I'm thankful for the small group I so randomly found and look forward to attending every Saturday night. I'm thankful for the youth group I serve for their high schoolers reminding me not to take life so seriously sometimes and to relax.

I am ever so slowly learning to appreciate my strengths, my weaknesses. My family's individual strengths, weaknesses. People in the workplace's strengths, weaknesses.

I thank God for the opportunities perfect for me to exercise obedience, trust, grace and agape love.
